City Council was supportive of presenting a ballot question about funding fire services to the community in fall 2024, and staff will work on next steps. The City of Westminster is conducting a community survey beginning Tuesday, March 19, regarding City services, programs, and a potential ballot measure to fund improvements to firefighting services. Potential improvements include the construction of new fire stations and training facilities, hiring more firefighters and paramedics, and expanding wildland firefighting capacity. 

We want to know how we can better serve you, so please participate and make your voice heard. These results will help the City make important decisions to improve City services in your neighborhood and community. In addition to the City’s website and social media, there are several other ways for residents to participate in the survey:  

1. Direct Link: Complete the City of Westminster Community Survey here.

2. SMS Text Message: Some residents will receive a text message inviting them to participate in the survey on the afternoon of Tuesday, March 19, and throughout the remainder of the week. The text message will come from a 303 area code and have the Westminster logo prominently displayed at the top with a message inviting them to participate in the survey. The image of the City logo is below. If you or someone you know receive the text message and do not feel comfortable clicking on the link, please feel free to use the direct link above. It will direct to the same survey.  

3. Email: Residents who have signed up for emails from the City will receive a notification to complete the survey.  

Please make your voice heard by sharing your opinion and participating in this important community survey. Your answers are anonymous and confidential, and the survey will take just 15 minutes to complete.
