Thursday Afternoon Movies

The MAC will show a movie on the 3rd Thursday of the month starting at 1:30 p.m., popcorn and drink will be provided. Pre-registration is encouraged, to register or movie title call The MAC at 303-426-4310. Fee: $2 Movies are subject to change.

September-  80 for Brady (2023) PG-13

A group of four lifetime Brady fans decide to take a road trip to watch him play the Atlanta Falcons in the Super Bowl. When the four friends arrive in Houston, they are devastated to learn that tickets to the Super Bowl are out of their price range. Instead of being gloomy, they have a hot-wing eating contest and pretend to be dancers during halftime.

October- A Man Called Otto (2023) PG-13 

Otto is a serious curmudgeon. As a retired widower, he has a lot of time on his hands. And he uses this time to fixate on all of the things that annoy him, such as neighborhood animals and all of the unwritten rules that his neighbors are breaking. He even obsesses over the delivery truck drivers that also don't meet his high standards. One day, though, everything changes when a new family moves into the neighborhood. From the get-go, the pregnant mom finds herself needing Otto's help. For Otto, however, deciding to let people in isn't always so easy.

November- Indian Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023) PG-13

In 1936, archaeologist Indiana Jones is on a quest to find the Dial of Destiny, a powerful artifact that can control the weather. The Nazis are also after the Dial, and they will stop at nothing to get it. Jones must race against time to find the Dial and stop the Nazis from using it for their own evil purposes. Along the way, Jones teams up with a young woman named Marion Ravenwood, who has her own reasons for wanting to find the Dial. Together, they must face danger at every turn, from Nazi assassins to ancient curses. In the end, Jones must use all of his skills and cunning to save the world from the Nazis and the Dial of Destiny.
