World Music Showcase Sept. 23 3-8 p.m. Fireman's Park Westminster Arts Week will kick off with the World Music Showcase. Take a trip around the world—without leaving the comfort of Westminster! This world showcase celebrates various expressions of culture through live entertainment and culinary delights.
Art & Poetry Exhibit Sept. 23-29 M-W: 9 a.m.-8 p.m.
Th-F: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Sa-Su: 1-5 p.m.
College Hill Library The Paletteers Art Club will be displaying art at the College Hill Library. Members of the Colorado Poetry Society will be writing poems specific to pieces of art. Be sure to stop by to enjoy the art and read the poems!
Studio & Gallery Tours Sept. 23 & 24 Hours Vary Locations Vary This is an opportunity for you to visit 11 studios of 17 working artists in the North Metro Area. You can plan which studios to visit each day and go at your own pace. The tour is free and booklets can be picked up at City Hall and City recreation facilities. Plein Air Art Competition Sept. 23-29 Hours Vary Locations Vary Sponsored by the North Metro Arts Alliance, this is an opportunity for you to see artists creating art in our beautiful parks and open spaces. You can get more information about the artists and their locations by contacting the Aar River Gallery in the Historic Westminster Arts District at aarriver3707@gmail.com.
Inks & Drinks Community Creative Evenings Sept. 26-29 T-Fri: 12-9 p.m. Downtown Westminster Join Inks and Drinks in Downtown Westminster for special deals on creative projects. They will help you create painted or planted masterpieces! You can book your session on their website: www.inksanddrinksparties.com. Be sure to mention that you are part of Westminster Arts Week to get special pricing.
Sculpture Walk and Arts & Culture Master Plan Update Sept. 28 4:30-7 p.m. Vicky Bunsen Sculpture Garden Join City staff and local sculptors to tour the Vicky Bunsen Sculpture Garden, learn about the latest sculptures on loan in the Garden, and get an update on the City’s Arts and Culture Master Plan.
Art & Poetry Reception Sept. 29 6-8:30 p.m. College Hill Library Join the Paletteers Art Club for a reception celebrating the combination of art of poetry. This reception will recognize the participants in the art and poetry exhibit.
Concert on the Plaza Sept. 29 6:30-8:30 p.m. Downtown Westminster Join us on the Downtown Westminster Plaza for free, live music by Pandas and People.
Shakespeare in the Park(ing Lot) Sept. 30 12 p.m. Westminster High School Join the Denver Center for the Performing Arts at Westminster High School for a production of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet in the school parking lot. This fun and unique production uses an old truck as the stage. Bring your family, friends, some lawn chairs and enjoy live theater!
Shakespeare in the Park(ing Lot) Sept. 30 2 p.m. Westminster High School Join the Denver Center for the Performing Arts at Westminster High School for a production of Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream in the school parking lot. This fun and unique production uses an old truck as the stage. Bring your family, friends, some lawn chairs and enjoy live theater! Plan to stay after the production for an interactive conversation with the actors and producers of the plays.
Plein Air Awards Reception Sept. 30 4-7 p.m. Aar River Gallery Join the North Metro Arts Alliance at the Aar River Gallery for an awards reception for the Plein Air Art Competition. Enjoy live music, meet the artists, and see the winning art entries.

Visit with Santa and experience the magical wonderland of lights at Westminster City Hall! The full-size sleigh and kid-size train are perfect settings for family photos. Remember to bring a camera to snap a photo with Santa! Hosted by the Westminster Rotary Club.
