Additional Important Information:
- All attorney-client consultations and plea negotiations are expected to occur before your hearing date and time. If additional time is needed, you may request a continuance for another court date. The Court will consider continuances on a case-by-case basis.

The Westminster Municipal Court, located in Westminster, Colorado, handles violations of the Westminster Municipal Code and the Colorado Model Traffic Code for both juveniles and adults. Cases commence with a Summons, Affidavit in support of a Warrantless Arrest or Application for an Arrest Warrant. The Summons contains information to include if a mandatory court appearance is required, if the matter can be handled with a signature and payment or if there is an early payment point reduction option.
Information on this site applies only to the Westminster Municipal Court. The Westminster Police Department also writes summons into Adams County Court or Jefferson County Court. If you have been ordered to appear at the Westminster Municipal Court the court's name and address will be listed below the signature box on the front of the summons.
City ordinances, court rules and state statutes govern the Court's proceedings. Court employees are not allowed to give legal advice but are happy to answer procedural questions.
All Westminster Municipal Court Presiding Orders, including those relating to COVID-19, are available for review upon request at the Municipal Court Clerk's Office.
