The city has partnered with Senior Hub, a non-profit agency that assists aging adults and families in need in Arapahoe and Adams counties, and Golden Corral to deliver meals to senior citizens in need.
Volunteers helped repackage the food and deliver it to residents in Mercy Housing.
Senior Hub Executive Director Stephanie Knight talked about her appreciation to the volunteers, Golden Corral, and the city for making this program happen.
The food delivery program runs through the end of the year.
