Community Magazine

Read more in-depth about timely updates and projects, community spotlights, and interactive contests with The Westy magazine. The print publication is produced, written, and designed by City employees and delivered to all residents four times a year.

Emergency Alerts

Receiving the right information at the right time can make all the difference in an emergency. The City utilizes two different emergency notification systems for residents, LookoutAlert and Genasys. Residents are encouraged to register for both systems which will keep you informed and ready to act.

Westy TV

The City of Westminster’s government access channel is live! Westy TV is transmitted over the Comcast cable system on channel 8 in Westminster. Residents can tune in for live City Council Meetings and Study Sessions, as well as videos showcasing City events and programs according to the schedule below. Westy TV is on the air 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For technical support, residents should contact Comcast.

  • City Council Meetings/Study Sessions air Mondays between 6:30 pm and 12 am
  • Reruns of City Council Meetings/Study Sessions air Tuesdays at 11 am
  • Outside of these broadcasted meetings, videos showcasing City events and programs will air at the top of each hour.
