Schedule an Inspection
Inspection of your work is the most important part of the process. Having your work inspected will provide you with the assurance that the work has been completed properly. Inspection also provides a permanent record of compliance with building code requirements
Scheduling Information
- Deadline to schedule an inspection for the next business day is 4 pm.
- Schedule inspections up to five business days in advance.
- Inspection window is not guaranteed.
- Roster is updated after 7:30 am Monday through Friday.
- Inspections are primarily performed between 8 am and 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
- A person over the age of 18 must be onsite to allow the Inspector safe access.
- Cancel inspections up until 6:00 am the day of the inspection.
- Check inspection results 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
- Speak to your inspector by phone between 7:30 am to 8:30 am, Monday through Friday
- View your window of time for your inspection.
- 8 am to noon = AM
- Noon to 5 pm = PM
Important Roofing Inspection Information
The primary (preferred) method for roof inspections, including mid-roof, is now through photo virtual inspections. Scheduling your inspection will remain the same and must be requested through eTRAKiT. Please see the Photo Roof Inspection Process for further detail.
For in-person roofing inspections to occur, a duty-rated ladder(s) must be provided, set, and secured for all roofs, and permission must be granted prior to entering a fenced yard, if applicable.
The roof must be complete and ready for inspection, free of rain, frost, ice, snow and ladder set on the scheduled day of inspection. If any of these requirements are not met, the inspection will be cancelled or failed, with a potential $50 fee.
Please be advised that expired reroof permits will not be inspected.
