Limited Computer Use by Reservation
Online reservations can be booked up to three days in advance. You can also drop in or call to sign up:

Public Computer Access
College Hill Library offers desktop computers on the first floor in the Information Area and the Children's Room. These computers can be accessed with a full-service Westminster Public Library card, guest pass, or a 'computer use only' library card. College Hill also has AWE Learning Stations for children.
Irving Street Library offers desktop computers and mobile laptop computers on carts (for in-library use). These computers can be accessed with a full-service Westminster Public Library card, visitor pass, or 'computer use only' library card. Irving Street also has AWE Learning Stations for children.
Software
Library computers have the following software:
- Windows 10
- Microsoft Office 2019: Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Excel
- Google Earth
- Microsoft Edge, and the most recent version of Google Chrome
Printing
In the library
Black and color printing is available from library computers.
- You can print up to 25 pages a day for free.
- If you need to print additional pages, then please stop by a Circulation desk to add funds to your account prior to printing.
From home or from a mobile device
Black and color printer from a home computer or mobile device to library printers is also available.
- Read the instructions on this page and then visit the remote printing portal.
- Log in with your library card and PIN, or select "Guest User" and get a barcode and PIN only for use with remote printing.
- NOTE: Be sure to make note of the barcode and PIN if creating a Guest User account as it is needed to login to a Print Release station at the library.
- Choose "Select a file to upload", then on your device, find the saved document you would like to print.
- These file types can be printed: PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, PPT, PPTX, CSV, TXT, HTML, RTF, JPG, PNG, BMP, JPEG.
- Click Upload. Look for the "File uploaded successfully!" message.
- Your print job will remain on a server for 7 days after which time it will be deleted.
- Come to the library and pay in advance at the Circulation desk for any print jobs that are over 25 pages.
- Note: You will not be able to pay for your document after logging in to a Print Release Station, so be sure to check the number of pages that will be printed and pay in advance for any pages over the first 25 free pages.
- Current charges are $.10 per page for black and $.25 per page for color printing.
- Go to the Print Release Station in the computer area and type in your barcode and PIN.
- Find your document and choose to print to either the black or the color printer.
- Your document will print up to 25 pages for free. If there is money on your account, then any remaining pages over 25 will be printed up to the amount on your account.
Wi-Fi & Mobile Hotspots
Wi-Fi is free at both libraries. Both libraries also circulate hotspots. Check out a mobile hotspot and get free unlimited Wi-Fi access using the T-Mobile network anywhere in the United States. Use it at home or take it on vacation. Hotspots check out for three weeks. Request your hotspot via the online catalog, or call 303-658-2604. Pick up your hotspot at the Circulation Desk.
GoCharge Charging Lockers
Use the free GoCharge charging lockers to charge your phone or tablet while you visit College Hill or Irving Street. Safely store your device for charging with a personalized PIN. Each locker contains three types of charging cords for popular devices.
Document Services
Faxing
Both College Hill and Irving Street offer faxing. Local and toll-free faxes are free. Fees apply for long-distance and international faxes.
Long distance and international fees: Long distance in North America, $1.75 for the first page and $1 for additional pages. International, $3.95 for the first page and $3.45 for additional pages. You can use a credit or debit card or purchase a fax card from the circulation desk. Copiers at both libraries provide free scanning to a flash drive.
Scanning
Both College Hill and Irving Street offer free scanning to a flash drive. Please ask a staff member for details.
Copy Machine
Copiers at both libraries provide black and white copies for 10 cents per page and color copies for 25 cents per page. Other paper sizes are available. Double-sided copies cost 20 cents per page for black and 50 cents per page for color.
Microfilm / Microfiche Reader
There is a microfilm/microfiche reader in the Westminster Archive Center on the first floor at College Hill.
Free One-on-One Tech Help
Need help using a computer, app, or device? Learn basic and advanced techniques. Computers available or bring your own device.
- Second and fourth Sundays at College Hill, 2 pm to 4 pm. Registration required. Call the Information Desk at 303-658-2604 to schedule.
- Wednesdays at Irving Street, 5:30 pm to 7 pm, Community Room. Drop-ins welcome. Job hunt help is also available.
