The City of Westminster provides high-quality core services and fosters resilience in order to promote a safe and thriving community. Westminster is a full-service city employing more than 1,100 benefited employees and up to 500 non-benefited employees each year. Our employees are committed to delivering the highest quality of service to the local community in areas of:

  • Public works and utilities, including engineering

The City of Westminster offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to fit the needs of its diverse workforce. The current benefits package offers the choice between three medical plans, dental insurance, life insurance, and a variety of voluntary benefits. Employees are eligible for medical and dental coverage on the first day of their hire date. Fringe benefits are available to employees as defined in the City of Westminster Personnel Policy and Rules and are generally provided to employees in a 0.5 or greater full-time equivalent (FTE).
