This page will be updated should the weather change during regular hours. Field closures are posted by 3 pm the day of the weather event. Thank you for helping protect our parks.
The City of Westminster makes every attempt to maintain its fields in a safe and playable condition for all participants at all times. As a permit holder, we ask your assistance in evaluating whether fields are playable in cases such as inclement weather, especially weather that comes in after the 3 pm update.
We ask that under no circumstances shall an event or practice be conducted on field(s) deemed unplayable. Unplayable surfaces include and are not limited to: soft, slippery and soggy grass; soggy, slippery running tracks and infields; or areas where a footprint sinks easily when walked on.
It will be the responsibility of the user group(s) scheduled to inform participants as well as their staff.
