Summer Reading
2025 Summer Reading Program for All Ages: June 1 to July 31
Our 2025 Summer Reading Program, "Color Our World," begins on June 1st! No early registration. Read and listen to books, earn prizes and attend programs for all ages! Please see our programs and events for the current month on our Events Calendar.
You can register in person at one of our library branches, or you can also register and track your progress using the Beanstack Tracker app on your mobile device. Everyone who registers receives a registration reward, so please come by the College Hill or Irving Street Libraries to receive your first prize and bookmark! Completion prizes will be given out on beginning on June 21st. We look forward to seeing you this summer!

What Do I Read Next, Pride Edition - College Hill
Sunday, June 1st
3 to 4 pm
Join library staff as they share new book recommendations in non-fiction, literary fiction and genres including mystery and romance. Prefer eBooks or audio? We've got you covered there too with new picks available on Libby and Hoopla. Borrow a recommendation or two and bring your own favorites to share with fellow readers. AGES: 14+
Trust the Process Art Club, Tie-Dye Bucket Hats - College Hill

1:30 to 3 pm
Unleash your inner artist in a supportive space for creativity at the library! Artists of all levels are welcome to join for this monthly art club focusing on different techniques and mediums. All materials will be provided for a new project each month. Check calendar for details. AGES: 16+
Learn to Face Paint - College Hill
Tuesday, June 10th
2 to 4 pm
Learn to Face Paint Prepare for RenFaire and beyond. Learn the basics of face-painting from a local social media influencer, Maythriel. Supplies provided; must attend both classes. AGES: 12-18
Teen Game Day! - College Hill
Saturday, July 19th
2 to 4pm
We will have tabletop board games, Switch games and more. Bring your friends and enjoy provided snacks and drinks while you hang out! AGES: 12-18
