Preschool Programs
Our Kinder Kids and Tiny Tots programs are state-licensed as small and large childcare programs. Registration for the school year is on a first-come, first-served basis with existing preschool and tot class students getting first priority for Tiny Tots and Kinder Kids. We accept enrollments during the school year if space is available. The age requirements for both programs are based on the age as of October 1 of the school year you are registering for.
Tiny Tots (three to four years)
Children must be three years old by October 1. This great beginning program prepares your child for Kinder Kids. It develops social, emotional, cognitive, and fine motor skills in accordance with the State of Colorado Early Learning Development Guidelines (ELDGs).
Kinder Kids (four to five years)
Children must be four years old by October 1 and planning to attend kindergarten in August 2026. This continuous school-year program prepares your child for kindergarten while focusing on the "learning is fun" philosophy. The program emphasizes social, emotional, and cognitive development along with the State of Colorado Early Learning Development Guidelines (ELDGs).
We are a Colorado Universal Preschool Provider! Kinder Kids that are 4 years old on October 1, 2025 qualify for free preschool. More information can be found on the Colorado Department of Early Childhood’s website. All families must register through the City of Westminster and the Colorado Universal Preschool portal.
For current school year openings, information, and registrations, please contact Stacy Rosseau.

Our preschool curriculum is aligned with the State of Colorado Early Learning Development Guidelines, which includes indicators that describe learning goals in the areas of mathematics, science, creative arts expression, physical development, and literacy. We also integrate Heggerty Phonemic Awareness, which is used in more than 150 Colorado elementary schools.
Some activities may have holiday themes. Please notify instructors of any holiday theme objections as early in the school year as possible. Missed classes are not refunded.
Our Colorado Child Care License does not permit staff to assist children in the bathroom or with diaper/Pull-Up changing. Because of this, children must be fully potty trained (underwear) or a parent/guardian must be available on-site at the recreation center and reachable by call/text at all times to tend to the child if needed. We encourage you to keep a change of clothes in your child's backpack.
You will receive an email from ePACT within 24 hours of registration. ePACT is where we collect health information and emergency contact information. If you have used ePACT previously (with the City of Westminster or another organization), you will be asked to verify or update any expired information.
The following are a licensing requirement and must be completed and uploaded to ePACT in order for your child to start preschool (Kinder Kids and Tiny Tots):
- Emergency information
- Colorado Certificate of Immunization
- Physician-signed health statement
Note: Health statements expire one year from the date of the most recent well visit noted on the form.
