Tee time reservations may be made year-round up to 14 days in advance starting at 6 am either online or over the phone if you have an existing account with a credit card on file. A Golf Westminster online account with a credit card on file is required to make all tee-time reservations. Please sign in with your email address and password to start this process. Tee Time Availability Reduction

Guests may have noticed a reduction in tee time availability in recent weeks at Legacy Ridge Golf Course and Walnut Creek Golf Preserve. This temporary change is brought on by the historically warm and dry weather conditions and the lack of typical weather closures we normally see.   

Golf staff are seeing significant amounts of wear and tear throughout the golf courses due to the record winter golf rounds. During this time of the year our dormant turf cannot protect or heal itself, especially during these times of higher use and very little moisture.  Thanks to decades of planning and collaboration with our partners in Public Works and Utilities, the golf courses have the ability to irrigate during the off-season during extreme stretches of low precipitation.  Even during these unusual winter circumstances, staff continue to monitor soil moisture levels regularly using the latest technology and only water turf areas that fall below specific thresholds.  These water conservation efforts during the off-season are all part of best management practices used throughout the year to conserve water and promote the ongoing environmental stewardship our golf courses have been recognized for throughout the years. 

By reducing tee time availability right now, we can still allow our guests opportunities to play and help minimize turf loss during the off-season which in turn will provide better opportunities for early season playing conditions later in the spring.    

Until substantial moisture is received, guests should expect the following restrictions to remain in place:

1. Reduced number of tee times available
2. Cart traffic restricted to paths only
3. Driving range operations limited to mats only

The City recognizes these limitations may cause inconvenience for golfers seeking preferred tee times. However, these actions are essential to maintaining safe, playable conditions and ensuring the best possible product for the upcoming golf season.

Tee times are available to the public 14 days in advance beginning at 6 am (MST). Cancellations and modifications frequently occur within 12–24 hours of play, and guests are encouraged to monitor the online tee sheet for openings.
