Westminster Recreation Centers offer something for everyone! Explore any of our seven facilities, including two year-round pools, a seasonal outdoor pool, an outdoor fitness area, and over 170 weekly fitness classes. Enjoy access to two gymnasiums, an indoor soccer field, three locations for indoor pickleball, updated weight room equipment, childcare services where available—and so much more.

City Park Fitness Center
City Park Fitness Center in Westminster is a top-notch facility with state-of-the-art equipment, a variety of fitness classes, a spacious weight room, massage services, and personal training. It also features a massive outdoor workout area, perfect for taking your training to the next level in the fresh air!

City Park Recreation Center
City Park Recreation Center in Westminster is a lively hub for fitness and fun, featuring a massive pool with water slides, a lazy river, and a diving area. With a full gym, racquetball courts, and two full basketball courts, it’s the perfect spot to break a sweat or just splash around!

Countryside Pool
Dive into a true community atmosphere at Westminster's only outdoor pool, open daily from Memorial Day through Labor Day. It's the ultimate spot to unwind and swim throughout the summer.

The MAC
The MAC is Westminster's hub for an active adult lifestyle. Join us for fitness and wellness activities, classes, educational seminars, and programs. Our facility includes a weight room, indoor walking track, aerobics and dance studio, billiards room, and indoor pickleball courts.

Swim & Fitness Center
For 50 years, the Swim and Fitness Center in Historic Westminster has been a key destination for swimming, programming, and community engagement. Recently, the City completed a major renovation aimed at improving ADA accessibility, enhancing safety for both guests and staff, and increasing overall efficiency and service. The redesigned facility now includes expanded weight and cardio areas, a new community room, a four-stop elevator for full accessibility, refreshed interiors, new fitness class offerings, and much more.

West View Recreation Center
Take in breathtaking mountain views while enjoying premium amenities, such as a newly updated weight room with state-of-the-art equipment and a spacious gymnasium. Stay active on the indoor walking track or unwind in the beautifully renovated community room, which includes a stunning outdoor covered patio.

Westminster Sports Center
One of the best indoor sports facilities in Denver with a large turf field and a smaller field. Both fields are equipped with a specific dasher board system including tempered glass and synthetic field turf. Plent of spectator seating. The facility also has a spacious classroom that doubles as a meeting room.

Scholarship & Reduced Rate Pass Program
- The City of Westminster offers a reduced-rate program for facility passes and recreation programs to Westminster and Hyland Hills Park and Recreation District residents. Need for financial assistance can be due to medical expenses, loss of job or other hardship. Funds are limited; please only apply if you need assistance. Families/individuals can enroll by completing a Scholarship/Reduced Rate application available at any of the city's recreation facilities. Scholarships are offered to all of our recreation facilities and programs. Maximum reduced rate is 50% of the facility fee and 50% of the program fee with the maximum award per family for programs being $250 per year (January through December).
Military Discount
- Westminster recreation centers offer a 50% discount on daily admission and Westy Rec Passes to active-duty service members, veterans, retired military, and military family members with valid ID.
- New Year's Day - City Park Fitness Center (CPFC) will be open 8 am - 12 noon, West View Recreation Center (WV) will be open 10 am - 2 pm, Swim and Fitness Center (SFC) will be open 12 noon - 4 pm; all other facilities are closed
- MLK Day - Normal hours at all centers
- President's Day - Normal hours at all centers
- Easter - All facilities closed.
- Memorial Day - All facilities closed except City Park Recreation Center (CPRC) which closes at 6 pm
- Independence Day - All Facilities closed except City Park Recreation Center (CPRC) which closes at 6 pm and Countryside (CS) which is open 10 am - 3 pm
- Labor Day - All facilities closed except City Park Recreation Center (CPRC) which closes at 6 pm
- Westy Fest - October 17, 2026 - City Park Recreation Center and City Park Fitness Center close at 12 pm. - All other centers normal hours.
- Thanksgiving Day - All facilities closed
- Day after Thanksgiving - Westminster Sports Center (WSC) closed
- Christmas Eve - Westminster Sports Center (WSC) closed; all other facilities close at 3 pm.
- Christmas Day - All facilities closed.
- New Year's Eve - Westminster Sports Center (WSC) closed; all other facilities close at 3 pm.
- March 31 to April 4: Westminster Sports Center closed daily until 6 p.m.
- April 11 to 27: The MAC closed. Preschool will remain open during this time.
- May 12 to 18: West View Recreation Center closed
- June 30 to July 6: City Park Fitness Center closed
- August 11 to TBD: City Park Recreation Center pool closed
- August 11 to 24: City Park Recreation Center closed
