Pillar of Fire development proposal update

The Uplands development proposal (also known as Rose Hill), located on Pillar of Fire property, encompasses five parcels of land comprising 230 acres in the general vicinity of West 84th Avenue and Federal Boulevard. The development proposal is not a city development initiative – it is a proposal from a private development firm for development of private property.

The applications include an annexation, comprehensive plan amendments, rezoning and a preliminary development plan. View a map. Official development plans will also be required. The development review process is underway.

City staff does not have a formal opinion, stance or recommendation on the proposal at this time.

All of these applications will require public hearings before Planning Commission and City Council. There are no dates for hearings scheduled yet.
